Cameron and Logan tragically lost their faithful working diabetic alert dog. Their family not only lost an important part of their blood sugar management help they lost a faithful family friend.
Needless to say, we are all devasted over this loss and because we witnessed what Max could do for this family, we are training another diabetic alert dog for this famy.
Diabetic alert dogs are trained to alert their handlers or others of a low or high blood sugar fluctuation.
Please consider sponsoring a puppy that we will work with the family to train to bring back some help to manage these brothers type one diabeties.
Braiden and his seizure response dog hopeful Lexi are part of our assisted self training program that includes us working with the family to puppy raise Lexi and we also offer intermittent board and training for Lexi.
Seizure response dogs are trained to alert someone when their person is having a seizure. We hope that Lexi will learn to eventually pre-alert to an upcoming seizure allowing Braiden time to get into a safe place.
We need sponsors to help with the costs associated with training Lexi, Braiden and his family to handle a working service dog.
Riley and his parents are part of our puppy raising service dog training program where they will be part of the training process and we are seeking sponsors, donations, fundraising events, ect to help with the costs associated with training a pup and the family. This Friday, we will be picking out Riley’s Diabetic Alert Dog hopeful!! Stay tuned for more!!
Lillie is part of our service dog training program and we are excited to have the opportunity to work with Lillie’s Mom Elizabeth to help them to have a diabetic alert dog to help manage Lillie’s type one diabetes. Please consider becoming a sponsor for Lillie’s team!!
